We will bring the family unit back to the biblical order that God ordained, thus spiritually, morally and financially empowering families to be God sustained ministries that will perpetuate the gospel of the kingdom form generation to generation.
Four years ago, God began a great work in the hearts and minds of a small group of people, who met in a living room to birth a vision. God strategically called us to have focus and to raise a standard among His people. Even now, the people continue to share a common mission, “To Know Christ and To Make Him Known.” As your Pastor, I sit in awe of what God continues to manifest at New Birth South Metropolitan Church. Through the awesome power of God, this ministry has grown to over 8,000 members in just over four years. As God continues to add to the church daily, we find ourselves outgrowing our current facility. God has called us to strengthen our cords and enlarge our tents.
We have entered into a season of faithfulness and favor over the people of New Birth South. God has chosen us to build Him a House. We will build a temple of faith and a spiritual epicenter that will allow God’s spirit to come forth with authority and strength within the community. “Building God A House… With One Heart and One Intent” is an extraordinary assignment given to us by God. I want you all to understand that this campaign is not just about building a building, but it is also about building a people. New Birth South will continue to be a place where people will get a picture of what God has in store for them.
The outcome of this campaign is determined by your outlook. If we can all see the same thing, there is nothing that can stop us. Our campaign’s underlying theme is “Not Equal Giving but Equal Sacrifice.” This is to remind us that we can not all give the same, but we can all give sacrificially. This challenges us to give over and above, over the next three years.
I am honored to serve as your Pastor and thank you for your commitment to this ministry. I challenge each of you to pray and seek God and His will, fulfilling that which He has asked us to do.
